Testimonials
The Melton Branch of the U3A stumbled upon a’ little gem ‘ in the Samworth Centre Coffee Lounge to hold its Beginners Guitar monthly practice sessions. Arranging booking & payments has been both easy and flexible. Access to the venue is straightforward & yet secure.
We hope to be able to continue using it for some time to come.
We also hold our monthly U3A meeting in the Coffee Room. And completely agree with everything Pete has written about booking, payment, access – and having refreshments available in the café.
Thank you to Linda and all the team.
What I found good about the Centre? Everything! …..
We are very happy that the Centre is located in the Town. The room that we use for our Belly Dance Course is very suitable and always clean! Also the communication with the Centre is always friendly but still professional.
We are really very thankful for having the possibility to enjoy our dancing every Wednesday evening.
Here at Home-Start we have always found the centre to be clean and well maintained. Staff are helpful and flexible. Our staff and the families who attend our group here feel safe and welcome.
A lovely warm & welcoming Centre which meets all our needs, very bright & clean.
Melton Mowbray Photographic Society have been using the Samworth Centre as the venue for our weekly meetings for many years. We view The Samworth Centre as our home and have always been delighted with the response we get from any queries or questions that we have. Our room is always clean and welcoming and the Centre Management a delight to work with.
After searching for suitable, affordable premises to rehearse in, the U3A singing group, Silver Tones, came across the Samworth Centre in the middle of Melton Mowbray town. The group has approximately 30 members using the bright, spacious, airy room with the use of the centre’s piano, flip chart, main toilets and kitchen facilities. The Centre is run by a very friendly, efficient and approachable team. It is ideally centrally situated in town, with affordable room fees plus a great cafe on site. A credit to the town!
